For any Ewan McGregor fans, I spotted this in today's Evening Standard.
The Christopher Robin actor will appear on Friday
Ewan McGregor is the latest Hollywood name to read a Bedtime Story on CBeebies, following the likes of Tom Hardy and Chris Evans.
The Christopher Robin star with soothe young viewers with his reading of Everybody’s Welcome by Patricia Hegarty on Friday.
The book tells the story of a little mouse who dreams of building a house where everyone can live and work together to feel safe and warm.
McGregor said: “It’s such an honour and pleasure to join an incredible list of actors to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story to children all over the UK.
“I had a great time filming and I hope everyone enjoys watching it.”
Peaky Blinders star Hardy has featured on the show on several occasions, most recently leaving parents flustered with his Mother’s Day story last year.
Hardy had previously appeared on the early evening reading show with his late dog Woody, as part of his Valentine’s Day offering.
Sir Elton John, George Ezra, Suranne Jones, Dolly Parton, US actor Chris Evans and Eddie Redmayne have also featured on the show, which closes the channel’s daily schedule.
CBeebies Bedtime Stories is on daily at 6:50pm
