I’m keen to help children/teenagers, from all around the world, develop their love of maths. I’m always on the lookout, for ways to make it fun and help students to work a little differently to normal.

Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) - used for training by the USA Maths Olympiad team
UKMT (UK Maths Trust) - their challenges are used to find students for the future UK Olympiad Team

Pick any 4 digit number (as long as the digits are not ALL the same).
Put the digits in ascending order and descending order to create two numbers.
Subtract the small number from the big number, to create a next stage number.
Then repeat the process with the new number
Eventually you end up with 6,174.
