A Hidden Gem

Having a 10 year old who's wanted to be a Vet since she aged 4, means we are always on the lookout for unique animal experiences. Our favourite museum is a hidden gem - UCL's Grant Museum of Zoology.

Summer 2017, we volunteered to help clean & build the skeleton of a 100+ year old whale specimen. Autumn 2017, my husband took a group of girls to a Gibbon experience. He had assumed they would be there 20-30mins, but a couple of hours later they were finally prised away still wanting more. Back to October 2014 when we went for the first time with South London friends.

This summer they have five free Explore Zoology events:

Explore Zoology 28th July 2018  (1pm - 4pm)

Explore Zoology 9th August 2018  (1pm - 4.30pm)

Explore Zoology 11th August 2018  (1pm - 4.30pm)

Creature Creations 25th August 2018  (1.30-4.30pm)

Explore Zoology 8th September 2018  (1pm - 4pm)
